The Sierra Madre national park in northern Luzon is the country's largest natural park. Sierra Madre is the longest mountain range in the country. The 359,000-hectare park is the home of endangered species such as pawikan, bayakan or giant bat, Philippine eagle, wild boar, Philippine brown dear, cloud rat, flame-breasted fruit dove, kalaw, bukarot, and native owl. |
