Bisexuality

What is Bisexuality?
Bisexuality is romantic attraction, sexual attraction or sexual behavior toward both males and females.

Bisexual people have the capacity to love people of their same gender or of a different gender. This can include physical, sexual, and emotional attraction, and/or relationships. Over time in life, a bisexual person might feel attracted to men, women, transgender people, or to one gender in preference to the others. The strength of these attractions may change over time. Being bisexual does not define either one's lifestyle or sexual behavior. Bisexual people may be men, women, transgender.  They may be monogamous or abstinent or may have multiple sexual partners, just like heterosexual and lesbian and gay people. Many people are bisexual and bisexuality cuts across distinctions of race/ethnicity, gender identity, age, class, ability, and religious affiliation.

Being a Bisexual is not bad, a sin, or immoral act. More and more country legalizing same sex marriage. The first laws in modern times enabling same-sex marriage were enacted during the first decade of the 21st century. Polls in various countries show that there is rising support for legally recognizing same-sex marriage across race, ethnicity, age, religion, political affiliation, and socioeconomic status.

Coming Out as a Bisexual
Telling people that you are bisexual can seem a big step, but for many it's a way to become comfortable with your sexuality and to stop feeling like you're "hiding". Before coming it is important to be emotional, social, spiritual, financial ready. Coming out is not as easy as telling everybody that "i'm a bisexual", it is a long process; patience, understanding, and consistency is needed.

"I don't believe that if I came out as bisexual the world will change. But it's really important for people to be truthful about who they are and fight for equality. We need to help the world usher itself into the next phase."

What is Pride?

Pride is an inwardly directed emotion that carries two common meanings. With a negative connotation, pride refers to an inflated sense of one's personal status or accomplishments

Examples

1.Being proud in a way that excludes others from being proud too- building yourself up while looking down on them
          2. A proud person becomes irritated when corrected for mistakes.

              3. A proud person accepts praise for things over which he or she has no control.
              4.Pride will not admit mistakes.
              5. Pride refuses to take counsel and to learn from other people.
6.Pride often shows itself in competition with other people.
7.Pride does not want more; pride wants more than somebody else.
But sometimes pride is not bad at all for example: Presenting something you're proud of will help convince others in its value. This has important applications in emergencies, with civil rights and in moral and legal debates. Pride is also tied up with self esteem the psychology to reflect person's overall emotional evaluation of his or her own worth.
